Today the sun is shining. The wind has dropped from its wild howling. Good beach day, thinks I.
There is a beach no more than a couple of miles from my home. The dogs love it. I love the miles of golden sand that stretches along the coast and is sheltered by high dunes. But I hadn't reckoned with the high tides this time of year.
Would you believe this is the same beach in late spring 2013? Ah well, it's over the dunes we go.
